Implementation of Audiovisual-Lingual Method in Enhancing Students’ Arabic Learning Interest at MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Kunduran

Abstract
This study employed a quantitative method with an experimental research design. Specifically, it utilized a single-group pretest-posttest design, in which the researcher administered a pretest before the intervention and a posttest after the intervention. The study aimed to measure the extent to which audiovisual and audiolingual learning media increased students’ interest in learning Arabic at MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Kunduran. Prior to analysis, the research instruments were tested for validity and reliability to ensure their suitability as research measurement tools. Based on the results of this study, the researcher concluded that the application of audiovisual and audiolingual methods through the Fun Easy Learn Arabic and Arabic Listening Speaking apps was proven to significantly increase interest in learning Arabic at MTs Muhammadiyah 3 Kunduran. This is demonstrated by the average (mean) score for students’ interest in learning, which increased from 33.6% to 66.4% on the posttest.
